Israeli Jews Burned New Testament Bibles
Submitted by: LOMMI, May 29th, 2008 Topic: Community Forums - A group of Ethopian Jews in the Israeli town of Ohr Yehuda received Bible from Messianic Jews that include the New Testament. The evangelizing of Ethopian Jews is a sensitivie issues, as they were often forced to convert to Christianity in Ethiopia, and the Jewish people are attempting to protect their Judaism.

Things are really heating up in Israel as blatant discrimination against Messianic Jews living in the land has risen sharply, following the Bible-burning escapade in Ohr Yehuda by a group of ultra-Orthodox Jews. And one has to wonder, what is the limit to these acts of violence and hate? How far is the Israeli government going to let it go?
